Aims:
This course is designed to meet the requirements to pursue LEVELS 1, 2, and 3 through to Tertiary Level
Successful completion will develop the essential knowledge and skills expected to meet the required standard for undertaking a career in Architecture, Design, Media, Advertising or any related career in the Design and Visual Communications industries.
Course Content:
- Sketching and rendering techniques
- Developing basic computer drawing and presentation skills
- Developing formal drawing and technical presentation methods.
Where can this subject take you?
This subject leads specifically into Levels 2 and 3 and tertiary qualifications in the design and communication industries.
Entry Requirements
Level 1 DVC will suit students who enjoy sketching, rendering, and using their design and computer skills to create visual solution to set design briefs and tasks. Eligibility for Level 1 is determined by successful completion of year 10 or with a special exemption from the Head of Department of Hard Materials.
