The key studies in this course are Extreme Natural Events and Population studies. The study of the sustainability of natural resource use and understanding geographic issues are also carried out in class. Directed research and mastery of basic geographic skills are also part of the course. The skills and knowledge learnt at this level will assist students at Level 2.
Entry Requirements
Achieve at a minimum of Level 5 of the curriculum in all aspects of the end-of-year Year 10 Social Studies exam. All others will be considered at the discretion of the HoF Social Sciences and/or TIC Geography.
