Accounting can be studied up to Level 3 (Year 13). It may be picked up for the first time at Level 2, but only with HOD Commerce approval.
The aims of the Accounting curriculum are to:
• Promote knowledge and understanding of accounting as a financial language for individuals, businesses and community organisations.
• Develop essential skills in a range of financial contexts.
• Apply financial knowledge and skills to practical situations.
• Develop essential skills to help manage their personal and business finances.
