English at Level 1 aims to continue to build students’ skills in a range of written, oral and visual contexts. This course is a combination of both internal and external achievement standards, and is designed to meet the demands of NCEA. You will be required to read and appreciate literature and language. As well, this course supports your growth as a writer across the curriculum.
