Mathematics will be necessary for virtually any career, particularly one in commerce or science. It will also extend anyone with an enquiring and logical mind and will examine a number of problem solving techniques.
The Mathematics course followed in Year 12 will be dependent on the number of Mathematics credits gained in Year 11. Exceptions to this will only be made in rare circumstances after consultation with the students Year 11 teacher and the Head of Mathematics.
