Course Description

Digital and information technologies impact on every aspect of our lives and are vitally important to student's growth in the 21st century. This course provides opportunities to develop knowledge and skills with digital technologies so students are equipped to respond to rapid changes in our society. The course covers a wide range of foundation skills in digital information such as touch typing, use of operating systems, and Microsoft Office software. Students who take this course will have an excellent base of skills for future information technology courses in the senior years. The course will also cover the technology design process where students will create digital solutions that are suitable for the target audience and fit for the intended purpose.
