Course Description

Year 12 General Science is an internally assessed course, covering all of the different strands of Science: Biology, Chemistry and Physics. 

You will explore the following concepts:

  • Practical investigations in Physics
  • How organisms survive in an extreme environment
  • How Chemistry is used in current technology
  • How Physics applies to a real-world situation
  • Investigating biological material using microscopes

Learning activities include both research investigations and practical experimental work. This course leads on to Level 3 Science and ultimately tertiary courses.
