Course Description

Year 12 General Science is an internally assessed course, covering all of the different strands of Science: Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
You will explore the following concepts:
- Practical investigations in Physics
- How organisms survive in an extreme environment
- How Chemistry is used in current technology
- How Physics applies to a real-world situation
- Investigating biological material using microscopes
Learning activities include both research investigations and practical experimental work. This course leads on to Level 3 Science and ultimately tertiary courses.
