This course focuses on a few topics which are studied at greater depth: Interacting Natural Processes at a given environment, Tourism Development processes in Rotorua, and processes in Planning an Event. Detailed studies of a contemporary geographic issue and a global issue are also carried out in class. Ability to conduct a research with consultation is a major component of the Level 3 programme.
The work builds on skills learnt at Level 1 and 2. Analysing, evaluating and assessing become key skills at this level.
Scholarship Geography will be available to students who excel in this subject.
