Year 9 Art
Course Description
Art is offered to all students in year 9. Students learn about the Elements and Principles of Art and then practice this learning in a project that involves making, painting, printing, and drawing.
Students are encouraged to bring in their own ideas and they learn how to develop these to reach a final artwork.
Pathway
Success in Art will provide students with the basic knowledge and skills that will be useful for studying an art-based course next year. This course is also important if students want to study or want to make their career in a creative industry.
