Level 2 Science Vocational Pathways
Although next year timetables are yet to be finalised, course selection is now finished. Any changes to student courses will now take place in January.
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr P. Rutherford.
In this course students will complete four separate assessments, with a total of 15 NCEA Level 2 credits available.
The four assessments will look at: 1) Survival and Effects of Mt Everest, 2) Non-Linear and Linear Graphs, 3) Radish Plant Growth and 4) Cell Biology Drawing.
The course is an academic course aimed at students who wish to continue studying Science, but who do not wish to specialize in any one branch of Science such as Biology, Chemistry or Physics. Learning activities include both research investigations and practical experimental work. This course leads on to Level 3 Science and ultimately tertiary courses.
