Level 1 Physics and Space Science

This course will explore the fundamentals of motion, energy and Earth-Space systems. We will focus on:

Term 1:

•  Motion, forces and energy, resulting in a practical investigation of these concepts.

Term 2: 

• The four Earth spheres, and how the cycling of carbon is affecting the Earth's climate. 
• Interactions between the Earth-Moon-Sun system. 

Term 3:

• Complete the Earth-Moon-Sun interactions, 
• Energy, in the forms of Heat, Electricity and Mechanical Energy

Term 4:

• Finish Energy, then revise for exams!

Please note: This course may be selected with Year 11 Science with Biology and Chemistry, but not with General Science, as there is an overlap in the standards assessed.
